Rosina Wachtmeister's first activity book, and the only one.

Not a coloring book off a shelf — an artist's book you finish yourself. Color it, cut it, glue things into it, and paint over anything you'd rather undo.

Rosina painting a page from the book.

24 × 34 cm — noticeably bigger than A4. The collages have room to breathe: torn papers, gold, the towers, the poppies, the cats. Finished pages are worth framing, and people frame them.

40 pages on heavy stock, printed in the Netherlands and made for scissors, glue and paint rather than just for looking at. Pencils and markers won't bleed through, and the paper takes a wet brush without buckling.

The instructions are in Rosina's own handwriting. In her words:

"You'll also need a lamp, so you can see well, and your favourite music. If you have a cat, let her watch!"

Put together by Rosina's daughters, from the paintings they grew up with. Less a product than a family album you get to continue.

Instructions come in English, German, French, Italian and Spanish; the artwork itself needs no words.

An edition of 999. No reprint planned.
